Monday: Life in the Desert We all think of deserts as hot and dry, but at night temperatures plummet to below freezing. Learn how animals like the fennec fox, camel, bull frog, unromantic and tortoise survive there.

Tuesday: Become a Forensic Investigator How long is the femur of a camel? Is the tortoise shell his house? Identify what an animal eats and how it moves by examining the live animals as well as bones and skulls. We’ll study the llama, pig, horse, goat & more.

Wednesday: Magnificent Mammals We’ve got mammals from all over the world. Learn what makes each one special, like the marsupial, the wallaby.

Thursday: Animal Movement Snakes slither, toads hop, birds fly and armadillos dig. We’ll also study footprints and learn how to identify them. Bring a plain white T-Shirt for project..

Friday: Rainforest We’ll get up close and personal with animals from the 3 layers of the rain forest. Most rainforests are warm and wet all year round, which makes a great habitat for the cockatoo, kinkajou, tarantula, chameleon and more.
